<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooked-rice molding device causing no deformation even when time goes on so as to always retain the shape of the molded cooked rice, and facilitating work to wash upper molds so as to be improved in maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: This cooked-rice molding device is provided with the following: a bottom molds 22 provided to a plurality of forming molds 21 while vertically penetrated and arranged inside each of the forming molds 21 provided on a turn table T; an upper mold 23 arranged at the upper part of the forming mold 21 charged with cooked rice; an upper-mold lifting/lowering mechanism 31 lifting or lowering the upper mold 23, a bottom-mold lifting/lowering mechanism 32 lifting or lowering the bottom mold 22 while synchronizing with the upper mold 23, and a projecting part 26 provided at the upper surface center part of the bottom mold 22. The projecting part 26 comprises a first projecting part 26A at its center, and a second projecting part 26B slightly lower than the first projecting part 26A.
