<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize presence information between different presence services. <P>SOLUTION: The presence server 27 of a presence display system including a cellular phone stores the presence information of each user. The presence information on an SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) phone system including an SIP phone 29 and an SIPG/W (Session Initiation Protocol Gateway) (an enterprise side) 30 is stored on the SIPG/W (the enterprise side) 30. When the presence information in the presence server 27 is changed, the presence server 27 notifies the SIPG/W (the enterprise side) 30 of the change of the presence information through the SIPG/W (a mobile communication network side) 31.
