HIGH-PRESSURE DISCHARGE LAMP AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure discharge lamp provided with a sealing part having an advantages such as high airtightness and crack proof and to provide a lighting system equipped with the discharge lamp.

SOLUTION: In this high-pressure discharge lamp (arc tube 1A) provided with a discharge medium containing metallic halide, the relation of 0.5 DG≤DF≤DG is satisfied where an outer diameter of a conductive material 21 for sealing is DF and an outer diameter of an outer introduction body 22 is DG. The lighting system is equipped with the discharge lamp.
