<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure both lightness of a reflection type display and saturation of a transmission type display. <P>SOLUTION: Color filters 22 colored in one of red, green, and blue each has a deep color part 221 overlapping a light transmission part 211 of a reflecting layer 21 and a light color part 222 which has larger optical density than the deep color part 221. The light shielding layer 22 which shields a gap of each sub-pixel 7 from light is formed by laminating at least a deep color part 221B of a color filter 22B of blue, a deep color part 221R of a color filter 22R of red, and a deep color part 221G of a color filter 22G of green. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
