<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst coating on a base material, exhibiting a remarkable anti-staining action to the base material and capable of being industrially produced. <P>SOLUTION: A base material coated is a glass, a ceramic or a glassy ceramic, on at least a part of at least one side of which a coating having a photocatalyst performance is applied, wherein an anatase-type titanium dioxide, that is at least partially crystalline, is contained, a thin layer is arranged between the base material and the coating to form a barrier against a moving of an alkaline metal originated from the base material, and crystalline titanium dioxide shows a form of crystallite having an average size of 0.5-60 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
