<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an appropriate power signal geared to the electric connection state between a connector and a functional component by preventing an open circuit at a connector, when performing the replacement of a functional component to a connector for power supply, or its removal, etc. <P>SOLUTION: According to the operation of a switch 21, a switch control circuit 20 switches the operation modes of a blower motor 3a in an air cleaner, a plasma generator 7 being a functional component, and a minus ion generator 8 in order. When the switch 21 is operated, the energization states of the pins 300-302 of the first connector 30 are detected, whereby the kind of the functional part connected to the first connector is judged, and an electric signal geared to the connected functional component is supplied.
