<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process multimedia information. <P>SOLUTION: In visible code information generated from multimedia information, binary information comprising black and white of minimum unit of the code information are two-dimensionally arranged, and on the upper left corner of a block of the entire information forming the rectangular, a marker 174 is provided which can regulate a reading direction for imaging and reading the code information and which has a square or round black part of a larger size in comparison with the information unit to be the binary information arranged at the center and has a white part arranged around the black part.
