A hollow golf club head, comprising a face part in which a hitting face for hitting a golf ball is formed of a metal material, a crown part adjacent to the face part, a heel part, a sole part, and a toe part, wherein, in at least two of the crown part, heel part, sole part, and toe part, at least one of a dissimilar metal material different from the metal material of the hitting face and a fiber-reinforced plastic material is used in areas along the end thereof adjacent to the face part within 30 mm from the end thereof, whereby since a structure is formed deformable against the impact of the golf ball to more deform the face part than before, the coefficient of restitution of the hit golf ball can be increased to increase the initial speed of the golf ball so as to increase a carry. |
