<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain flavorful loquat seed tea good for health because of containing much amygdalin and having remaining sweetness of loquat pulp through effectively using a large amount of loquat fruit seeds as a tea material. <P>SOLUTION: The loquat seed tea 7 is obtained by washing loquat fruit seeds 2 in water followed by cutting into small pieces 5 each of 3-5 mm, drying the small pieces 5 in the shade for about 20-30 days, roasting the product at 70-80°C for about 3 h with a roasting machine 15 to obtain a first roasted loquat seed tea, drying the product in the shade for about 1 week after roasting and performing second roasting at 70-80°C for 1 h. Loquat tea 21 is obtained by mixing the loquat seed tea with loquat skin tea 13 obtained by crushing, drying and roasting loquat skin 4, at the weight ratio of 4:6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
