<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the reading operation of connected codes constituted by combining a plurality of optically readable codes whose region shapes and sizes are almost the same by providing a method for using the position information of the code whose reading has been already succeeded to simplify its positioning with the next code. <P>SOLUTION: This code reading device is provided with an image pickup part 2 which picks up the image of an optically readable code, an analyzing means 5 which analyzes the code whose image is picked up by the image pickup means, and extracts the information and a positioning means 6 which sets the image pickup position of the image pickup code whose information has been successfully extracted by the analyzing means as a reference position, and decides the image pickup position of this time code based on the reference position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
