<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member capable of suppressing shrinkage stress of a polarizing plate in heating and humidifying environment even when the member is made large-sized to be adapted to a large-sized flat panel which is applied to the flat panel of a liquid crystal cell or the like and formed by sticking the polarizing plate on a light-transmissive supporting substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The optical member 1 is formed by sticking at least the polarizing plate 11 on the light-transmissive supporting substrate 12 and applied to the flat panel, and the optical member is curved in one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
