<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device which can adjust the tension of a seat belt as required and by the will of a passenger. <P>SOLUTION: This seat belt device 1 is constituted by providing a navigation device 2, the seat belt 5, a seat belt driving device 4, a passenger instruction inputting device 23, and a seat belt control device 3. In this case, the navigation device 2 has a road map data storing means 22 and a vehicle position detecting means 21, and detects the traveling status of a vehicle by road map data and the present position of the vehicle. In the passenger instruction inputting device 23, an instruction regarding the tension adjustment of the seat belt 5 by the passenger is inputted. The seat belt control device 3 determines whether the adjustment of the tension of the seat belt 5 is required or not from data of the traveling status transmitted from the navigation device 2, performs notification for asking the right/wrong of the tension adjustment to the passenger when the tension adjustment is determined to be necessary, and drives the seat belt driving device 4 when an instruction signal inputted in the passenger instruction inputting device 23 to the notification is right. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
