<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower-half apron for water work fitting the waist part of a wearer, hard to slide, extremely easily wearable, easy to be folded, stored and taken out, and wearable through simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The lower-half apron for water work has the following structure: Hook-and-Loop fasteners 2 are attached to both sides of the upper part of a waterproof apron main body 1 formed into an inverted trapezium shape covering an area from the waist part to the vicinity of the ankle; and a stretchable gathered part 3 is formed at the inner side than the Hook-and-Loop fasteners 2; and adjusting loops 4 are attached to respective gather parts 3. It is preferable that a male part 21 of the Hook-and-Loop fasteners 2 is attached to the back face of the one end side of the upper part of the apron main body 1, and a female part 22 of the Hook-and-Loop fasteners 2 is attached to the surface of the upper part another end side of the apron main body 1. An engaging part 41 comprising a male part 41a and a female part 41b is preferably attached to the adjusting loops 4, and a loop-hooking ring 42 through which the adjusting loop 4 passes is preferably attached.
