<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventricular volume measuring apparatus and a ventricular volume measuring method which enable the measurement of an effective value of a voltage change without using a complicated circuit, the overcoming of the effective value change by a secular change of circuit frequency, and the reduction of a calculation load of effective value calculation. <P>SOLUTION: Synchronized feeble currents are supplied between electrodes of both ends of a conductance catheter, at two different frequencies in such a manner that one frequency has n times (where n is an integer of 2 or more) than that of the other frequency. Sampling of the voltage change between electrodes is performed by utilizing the frequency which is two times as high as the other frequency synchronized with the maximum and the minimum of feeble current supplied at one frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
