LIGHTING FIXTURE, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scorching easily caused in a lamp housing when a lamp cover is laser-welded to the lamp housing.

SOLUTION: In this method wherein the leg part 21 of the lamp cover 2 is made to abut on the opening fringe part 11 of a lamp housing 1, and the lamp cover 1 is laser-welded to the lamp housing by irradiating laser beam LB to the abutting surface part, a lamp having no trace of welding in a region other than the abutting surface part S on which the lamp cover 2 abuts on the opening fringe part 11 of the lamp housing 1 can be manufactured by irradiating the laser beam LB while obturating by an obturating member 214 so that the laser beam LB is not irradiated on the region other than at least the abutting surface part S of the opening fringe part 11. Thereby, the opening fringe part can be prevented from being overheated and scorched.
