<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a backlight light source for a liquid crystal with improved light emission efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the backlight light source for the liquid crystal, light from a light emission part is reflected on a reflection part, is transmitted through a light guide part, a diffusion part and a polarization part and is introduced in a liquid crystal part. The backlight light source for the liquid crystal is characterized by being equipped with a reflective polarization part which is disposed so as to surround the light emission part wherein the light from the light emission part transmitted through it is introduced to the light guide part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
