<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a retrieval system with a portable telephone 12. <P>SOLUTION: An advertising page 18 of an advertiser is provided on a site 14 for managed portable telephones. An information magazine 11 carrying an advertisement A with a two-dimensional bar code 15 which encodes a URL of the advertiser is distributed free. When a user who has looked at the information magazine 11 becomes interested in the advertisement A and copies the two-dimensional bar code 15 with the portable telephone 12, the URL of the advertising page 18 is displayed, so that the user can access the page 18 of the advertizer.
