<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a metallic mold for casting with which the flattening of mating faces of an upper mold and a lower mold and the secureness of sufficient cross sectional area of a gate can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In the structure of the metallic mold 1 for casting, forming a runner 34 and the gates 35, 42 for supplying molten metal into a product part 7 between the upper mold 2 and the lower mold 8, the runner 34 is arranged between the upper mold 2 and the lower mold 8. Further, the first gate 35 having the almost same width as the width of the product part 7 and extended as the straight line-state in the width direction, is arranged at the lower position than the lowest portion in the inlet part of the molten metal of the product part 7 while connecting to the runner 34, and the second gate 42 is formed so as to match with the recessing and projecting shape of the product part 7 while connecting the above first gate 35 to the inlet part of the molten metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
