<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of display of high quality by more surely preventing an ionic substance from being mixed with a liquid crystal layer. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with a common electrode substrate and a counter electrode substrate which face each other across a seal member to provide a gap part, and a liquid crystal layer charged in the gap part; and the common electrode substrate has a common transparent electrode layer on the substrate and the counter electrode substrate has semiconductor driving elements and resin colored layers of a plurality of colors formed in specified patterns corresponding to respective semiconductor driving elements, the resin colored layers being characterized in that the voltage holding rate of liquid crystal after impurity extraction processing is ≥80% and residual DC(ΔE) is ≤0.5 V. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
