<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone decomposing material capable of effectively decomposing/removing ozone which is generated from, for example, a copying machine and is harmful to the human body, a technique for manufacturing the ozone decomposing material, an ozone decomposing method and a technique for regenerating the ozone decomposing material. <P>SOLUTION: This ozone decomposing material consists of a fabric at least the surface of whose fiber consists of a thermoplastic resin and on the surface of whose fiber a photocatalyst particle, to the exposed portion of which silver is stuck, is deposited or a laminated material obtained by layering the fabric and an activated carbon sheet. This method for manufacturing the ozone decomposing material comprises the steps of: obtaining the fabric on the surface of whose fiber the photocatalyst particle is deposited; and impregnating the photocatalyst-deposited fabric with a solution of silver nitrate, drying the silver nitrate-impregnated fabric and irradiating the dried fabric with ultraviolet rays to stick silver to the exposed portion of the photocatalyst particle. This ozone decomposing method comprises the steps of using the laminated material being this ozone decomposing material and arranging the activated carbon sheet of the laminated material on the inflow side of an ozonic atmosphere.
