<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a potential relation structure among documents as explicitly related information. <P>SOLUTION: A document management system has a first means having a function capable of setting a relation link among related documents in a plurality of documents by a user. As for other means having functions different from the first means, the document management system comprises a second means having a function preparing retrieved results as a list of documents obtained by searching documents related to designated documents among a plurality of documents according to a predetermined algorithm, and a third means having a function correcting ranking for the list of documents in response to relevance with the relation link when the relation link is set up on the designated documents on the basis of information on the relation link obtained by the first means and information on the list of documents obtained by the second means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
