<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a power tilt and trim switch for adjusting trim angle and tilt angle of an outboard motor at a position with excellent operability. <P>SOLUTION: This steering rod 1 has a bar-shaped steering rod main body 11 connected to the outboard motor 2 in an almost horizontal direction, a grip 12 rotatable around a shaft of the steering rod main body 11 mounted at a distal end part of the steering rod main body 11, and a switch 18 for adjusting the trim angle and tilt angle of the outboard motor 2.
