<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a revolving door, which minimizes the possibility of collision of users on the revolving door or pinching of the users between the revolving door and each edge of an entrance. <P>SOLUTION: According to the safety device arranged in the vicinity of the edge of each of entrances 4a, 4b of a cylindrical wall 2, a pole member 36 substantially inhibits the users from running toward the entrance 4a, 4b in a specific direction. The pole member 36 has a charge sensor 38 arranged thereon, which functions to detect users running toward the entrance 4a, 4b in directions other than the above-mentioned specific direction, at a location outside the entrance 4a, 4b, and decelerates the speed of a partition wall 6 or stops operation of the partition wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
