<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire which has an excellent insertion property and torque transmission property, hardly causes permanent set and hardly being trapped. <P>SOLUTION: In the guide wire having a distal end and a proximal end and having a core wire and a coil part which is fitted to the distal end side, the pitch (p) of the coil is as 1.1 to 3 times large as coil material diameter (d), a gap between the core wire and the coil materials and a gap between the coil materials are charged with an elastomer, and the surface of the coil part constitutes a smooth surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
