<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device by which a perfect black data signal can be written without impairment of a margin to a write time. <P>SOLUTION: Pixels (PX1-PX3) aligned to one column are provided with a plurality of data lines (DLIO and DLIE) and one of them is precharged to a prescribed voltage (VP) and the voltage corresponding to a write current or the voltage corresponding to the black data is supplied to a selected pixel via the other.
