<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery-type motor-driven tool avoiding reduction of service lifetime of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The battery-type motor-driven tool uses the battery 2 as a power supply. and is provided with a power supply circuit 5, which turns on/off a power supply of a drive circuit 6 for driving a motor, and a battery voltage detecting part 11 for detecting a battery voltage. When the battery voltage detected with the battery voltage detecting part is lower than a prescribed value, the power supply circuit 5 maintains the drive circuit 6 in an off-state regardless of operation input.
