<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily use and store a magnetic striped part of a magnetic card. <P>SOLUTION: The protection case 10 mainly consists of a card holder body 12 and a protection cover 14 which is slidable to the card holder body 12. The magnetic striped part 42 of the card 40 sticks out of the lower side of the card holder body 12 at the storage position, and the protection cover 14 covers the magnetic striped part. When the pressure is applied to the card holder body 12 or the protection cover 14, a shaft 18 is guided to a guide passage 26, and a compression spring 22 is compressed by a shelf upper face 30a. Finally, the protection cover 14 is slid to the use position where the magnetic striped part 42 is exposed from the protection cover 14. As a result, the magnetic information on the magnetic striped part 42 can be read by a card reader.
