The device (10) has a fiber based link assembly (40) formed with wound fiber. The link assembly comprises an O-shaped portion, which interconnects a vehicle side attaching element (30) e.g. screw, with a component side attaching element (21) of a safety component i.e. seat harness (20). The wound fiber is an 8-shaped wound fiber in form of a single filament or multi filament. The wound fiber is rolled on a carrier element. The mass of the fiber is 60,000-150,000 dtex. The number of windings of the fiber is about 30-200. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fastening device for vehicle-side fastening a seat harness of a safety belt system in a vehicle. |
