<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the downlink transmission power of a mobile communication system which can detect and correct a difference arised to the transmission powers of a plurality of base station devices controlled by a common transmission power control (TPC) command signal. <P>SOLUTION: Base station devices 11 and 12 total the values shown by the TPC signal decoded for every frame of a predetermined number, and reports to a radio network controller. The radio network controller determines either of base station devices as a reference device based on Ec/No values formed from a mobile terminal 14, while the difference of the reported TPC sum total value is obtained. The radio network controller outputs a correction instruction to the base station device except the reference device so that the transmission power of the base station device except the reference device coincides with the transmission power of the reference device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
