<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the formation of a diffusion plate for a liquid crystal display device, that when exposure is continuously carried out while a film is conveyed, the incident angle of light on a master may vary according to its position in the direction of the conveyance, which results in blur in recorded diffusion pattern and leads to degradation in diffusion characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: Film is irradiated with exposure light rays while aligning incident angle to the normal of the film. It is preferable that variations be within 1.8° in the direction of the conveyance. This realizes a method and apparatus for forming a diffusion film which prevents occurrence of blur in a pattern despite exposure during film conveyance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
