<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of demonstrating the original carrying property of a fixing and paper delivery roller by suppressing a rise of a sheet after the fixation. <P>SOLUTION: When a sheet edge is advanced to a pair of a fixing and delivery roller 12 and a roller 13, and the sheet edge is raised along a bending path, a thick sheet itself is strongly flexible, and the sheet edge is subjected to the reaction force f1 from a carrying passage. The reaction force is applied to the sheet edge even after the sheet edge passes through a pair of a carrying and delivery roller 15 and a carrying and delivery roller 16 with f1 as a typical value from a substantially center portion of the sheet. However, by providing an idler roller 17 with the fixed axis position, the reaction force f2 of the sheet can be used for cancellation, and rise of the fixing and delivery roller 13 can be suppressed completely. Therefore, even when not only regular papers but also strongly flexible sheets of small size such as an envelope and a card are carried, the sheet can be carried without impairing the performance of the pair of the fixing and delivery roller 12 and the roller 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
