摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for structuring a standard 12-lead electrocardiogram without skills by arranging a minimum number of electrodes, and also to provide a monitoring apparatus for carrying out an appropriate diagnosis and treatment with respect to various heart diseases. <P>SOLUTION: Electrodes are arranged below the right and left ends of the right and left collarbones and on the right and left axillary lines at the height of the right and left lowest ribs. The positions correspond to electrode positions for appendicular leads. A first electrocardiographic data set corresponding to I and II leads is measured using the electrodes. Electrodes are also arranged on electrode positions for precordial leads, that is, V2 and V4 leads, and a second electrocardiographic data set comprising V2 and V4 leads is measured. An instant heart-induced electric vector is then obtained and lead vectors of V1, V3, V5 and V6 leads are determined in advance to calculate a third electrocardiographic data set comprising V1, V3, V5 and V6 leads. A fourth electrocardiographic data set corresponding to III, aVR, aVL and aVF leads is calculated on the basis of the first electrocardiographic data set.
