<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermentation apparatus for converting an organic matter-containing raw material to be treated into compost, or the like, by utilizing a microbe while restraining the usage of heavy oil, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This fermentation apparatus 1 is mainly provided with: a rack 5; a cylindrical rotary drum 2 having a storage space for storing the microbe to be activated at about 80-100°C and bean curd refuge; rotary supporting parts 9a, 9b interposed between the rack 5 and the rotary drum 2 for supporting the rotary drum 2 to be arranged horizontally on the rack 5 so that the rotary drum 2 can be rotated in the circumferential direction; a rotary driving part 10 for rotating the rotary drum 2; a heating burner 13 for sending heating air 12 of high temperature to the storage space 8 of the rotary drum 2 through a hot air pipe 11; and a discharge part 16 for discharging treated exhaust gas 15 through a ventilation pipe 14. The heating burner 13 is operated intermittently on the basis of the temperature of the treated exhaust gas 15 so that the storage space can be kept at a temperature at which the microbe works actively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
