<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix display device capable of lessening the number of stages in shift registers by successively supplying output from one shift register to a plurality of gate lines. <P>SOLUTION: A data driver 2 supplies data to a data line 9 provided corresponding to a pixel row. A selection driver 1-1 successively supplies selection signals to selection lines 8 provided corresponding to a pixel line. The selection driver 1-1 has a shift register 5 for successively transferring the selection signals to multiple stages of the registers by receiving the supply of a shift clock, and a plurality of switches 7 for controlling the supply of the selection signals to a plurality of the selection lines by being connected to the output of the register of each stage of the shift register 5. When outputting the selection signals from one register of the shift registers 5, the plurality of the switches connected to the output of the register are successively turned on, and the data are supplied to a pixel arranged in the form of a matrix to be displayed to a display array performing display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
