An apparatus for exercising the human trapezius muscles is disclosed. The apparatus comprises two side frames, rigidly connected by a link, each side frame having an outwardly extending arm for receiving weights and vertically adjustable height handles for a user to grip. The user exercises her or his trapezius muscles by shrugging his or her shoulders up and down, so that the apparatus is alternately raised and lowered.
