STEAM PASSING LABEL, AND PACKAGE FOR HEAT TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam passing label capable of forming a steam passing port before the internal pressure is increased during the heat treatment.

SOLUTION: The steam passing label 5 is affixed so as to cover an opening part 31 for releasing steam in a package 1. An annular affixing part 7 to be affixed to a surface of the package 1 is provided on a back side of a label base material 6. The label base material 6 has at least two films of a first film 61 and a second film 62. The first film 61 and the second film 62 are arranged on the same plane. One side end part of the first film 61 and one side end part of the second film 62 overlap with each other and are stuck to each other to form a joined part 63 extending in a strip between the films. At least any one of the first film 61 and the second film 62 has the heat shrinkability, and its heat shrinkable direction is substantially orthogonal to the extending direction of the joined part 63.
