PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine capable of adequately calculating deviation between the actual deposition of particulate matters generated attributable to unburnt particulate matters when regeneration treatment is completed and estimated deposition.
SOLUTION: A control device 25 calculates the estimated deposition of particulate matters deposited on a filter 32, and starts the regeneration treatment of the filter when the estimated deposition reaches a predetermined regeneration starting value. When the estimated deposition to be reduced according to the oxidation rate of the particulate matters while executing the regeneration treatment is dropped to the predetermined regeneration completion value, the regeneration treatment is completed. The control device 25 calculates deviation between the actual deposition of the particulate matters at the time of the completion of the regeneration treatment and the estimated deposition based on an exhaust emission flow rate while executing the regeneration treatment, and corrects the regeneration starting value so as to be smaller by the deviation.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
