FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine area, particularly to ophthalmology, and can be used for processing human cadaveric keratoderma preceding keratoplasty. The method is characterised by that the human cadaveric keratoderma is put in a preserving solution containing M-199 medium, F-10 medium, Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium, chondroitin sulphate, dextrane-40, gentamycin sulphate, amphotericin, riboflavin in the certain ratio of components, (wt %), at temperature 4-8 degrees for one hour. Then keratoderma is moved to a sterile container and exposed to ultraviolet. During this exposure, 1 drop of 0.1% riboflavin is applied on a donor cornea every 5 minutes; thereafter the processed keratoderma is placed in the solution containing M-199 medium, F-10 medium, Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium, chondroitin sulphate, dextrane-40, gentamycin sulphate, amphotericin in the certain ratio of components (wt %). Keratoderma can be kept in said solution for 1 to 5 hours at temperature 4-8 degrees. ^ EFFECT: invention provides improved strength and biological properties of human cadaveric keratoderma for higher effectiveness of keratoplasty. ^ 2 ex |
