<p>Antidepressant compsns. contain 2,3,5,6-tetrahydro-6-phenylimidazo 2,1-b thiazole (I), pref. in the alpha form, or a salt thereof, pref. the hydrochloride. (I) can be formulated in tablets contg. lactose, starch, talc and Ca stearate, or capsules contg. starch, aqs. dibasic Ca phosphate and Ca stearate. The daily dose for adults is pref. 50-500 mg, pref. administered in 3 50 mg units (for the l isomer) of 3 25 mg units (for the d isomer).</p> |
