The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, in particular to a transmitting power adjusting method and device, which are used for solving the technical problem of failure in normally receiving a signal by a user equipment due to the fact of large signal attenuation during high frequency. In the embodiments of the present invention, a network equipment can determine a value of a pulse shaping factor corresponding to the user equipment, and further determines an adjusting value of transmitting power of a transmitter according to the value of the pulse shaping factor, thereby adjusting the transmitting power of the transmitter according to the adjusting value, i.e., adjusting the transmitting power of corresponding transmitters according to an actual situation of the user equipment, enabling the signal to be sent to a receiving end as far as possible in consideration of attenuation, and increasing the coverage rate of a cell. |
