<p>A circuit breaker having an automatically resettable linkage mechanism which includes a pivotal link for moving the circuit breaker contacts between the open and closed positions. The circuit breaker also includes a manual actuating mechanism which engages the pivotal link and is operable to manually move the contacts to the "closed" position but is inoperable to subsequently manually move the contacts to the "open" position and which is itself reset by the reset movement of the pivotal link after the collapse of the linkage mechanism in response to the occurrence of a preselected electrical condition.</p> |
