发明名称 COUNTERCURRENT ELECTRODEPOSITION PROCESS
摘要 1376690 Continuous deposition of polymer KENDALL CO 18 Dec 1972 [27 Dec 1971] 58370/72 Heading C7B A method of depositing a film of organic polymeric particles from an aqueous dispersion comprises continuously moving an electrically conducting surface against the flow of the dispersion and establishing a D. C. voltage between the conducting surface and a counter electrode. The conducting surface may be the cathode and move at a constant speed. In Fig. 1 the anode 12 may be graphite or platinum. The conducting surface may be a metal cylinder 14 of stainless steel or chromium plated metal. Aqueous dispersion 16 is passed from tank 18 through meter 20. The deposited polymer is removed from cylinder 14 passes on to guide roll 24 and wind roll 26. In Fig. 2 and 3 (not shown) the polymer is combined with a sheet material on one or two sides. The material may be fibrous web, paper, woven or non-woven fabric, plastics film or metal foil. In Fig.4 (not shown) the deposition may take place directly on to a strip of substrate material. The dispersion may be stabilized by a surfactant and kept at 30-60‹C. Typical polymers may comprise, acrylic and methacrylic esters, vinyl esters, vinyl ethers, monomers containing -CN groups, alkoxy containing monomers, allyl and methallyl monomers, monomers containing two or more vinyl groups, vinyl halides, tetrafluorethylene, urethane forming monomers, epoxy monomers, and polar and reactive monomers such as acrylic and methacrylic acids and acrylamides.
