Abrasive mark and print accepting coatings from a mixt. of (1) resin chosen from cellulose acetate, epoxy resins, and (co)polymers of (meth)acrylates, vinyl(idene) chloride, vinyl acetate, vinyl acetal, and styrene, and (2) micronised silica as abrasive pigment, the pigment making up 49-56 vol.% of the compsn. Markings on the coatings cannot be effaced without complete destruction of the coatings. Useful for Iacels, credit, cards, etc. |
