Solid surfaces with polymer coating - keeps surface clean and may be removed by alkaline detergent

摘要

The surface of a solid is easily cleaned by the removal of a solid layer formed for trapping dirt. This solid layer is a polymer partially sol. in alkaline solns. having a pH 8.5 whereas it is insol. in neutral and dild. acid solns. It is formed from an aq. polymer soln. also contg. an alkaline substance such as NH3, a wetting agent, a plastifying agent and a corrosion inhibitor. The treatment is suitable for protecting e.g. motor vehicle parts.
