All the response signals in a request cycle are stored in the central station and are then transferred simultaneously to a unit for processing the answer signals. The command signals derived from these answer signals are transmitted to the individual vehicles consecutively by radio either during a break in or after completion of the next request cycle. These periods consisting of request cycle and command signals are repeated continuously by the central station. All signals are in binary coded data bits.
