The invention provides a metal sandwich structure comprising a first cover layer, a second cover layer and a core layer which is arranged between the first cover layer and the second cover layer. The core layer is provided with a wave-shped structure. A first channel is formed by the first cover layer and the core layer; a second channel is formed by the second cover layer and the core layer. At least one of the first channel and the second channel is filled with flowable filling material.
