Tiles are made from mixt. based on cement, mixed with silicon marble and/or mineral powder, a gel, chemical additives to increase the impermeability, the hardness and the brightness of the prod. and a different colourant to each mixt. The titles are made by grinding the mixts., moulding, drying and hardening and encapsulating the mouldings with wax and hardening additives. A glazed finish may be produced by sprinkling a thin layer of a special glazing mixt. in the base of the mould before moulding.
