<p>Electric cutter or knife of type having two reciprocating rectilinear motor driven blades, has a casing formed of two sections containing the motor etc. and permitting diametrical sequential assembly whilst centralising bearings of rotor and stator. Pref. the lower casing half is of pressed aluminium and the upper is of insulating plastic permitting proximity to brush holders and wiring, and retaining the bearings. Each blade is retained by a rectractable spring at the rear extremity, the springs unlocking for ejection of the blades.</p> |
