<p>Pantyhose with a trunk part comprising a succession of partly circular courses terminating in lock stitches at opposite ends and a limited number of completely circular courses having aligned needle loops in the trunk part so as to form ribs, the lock stitches being restricted to specific ribs on the front and back of the trun part, while the limited number of complete courses between these specific ribs form the crutch of the trunk part which is separated on the side opposite the crutch to form an opening round which an elastic waistband is provided. In particular, the partly circular courses are present in groups of >=2 between adjacent complete circular courses, and three times as many as provided in the trunk part as the number of complete circular courses therein.</p> |
