<p>A crawler chain sprocket includes a central hub connected to an outer rim on which a plurality of teeth are formed that engage and drive a crawler track. Concave sides on the teeth form root face portions between adjacent teeth. Relieved cutouts are formed on the sides of the root face portions in an alternating pattern so that dirt and debris can be expelled from the crawler track without establishing a concentrated, centralized wear pattern on the crawler track bushings.</p> |
